On Day 18, our group headed to the dinosaur capital of the USA. Man, this town is crazy about their dinosaurs. We rolled into town after a 65 mile ride to see dinosaur sculptures, museums, and dinosaurs. I had no idea that this area of Utah had among the highest concentration of dinosaur fossils in the country. Our group stayed in the Elk Lodge. The Elks are a similar organization to that of the Lion's Club whose aim is to bring kids out of poverty and combat drugs. We walked down the strip of the small town, ate at a taco truck, and drank craft soda. For dinner, we had a delicious BBQ meal on the grill hosted by one of the members. He told us that he started cooking the dinner at 10pm the previous night and stayed up through the morning to ensure that it was all done. This showed me the amazing dedication and sacrifice of some of the sponsors on this trip and the passion they have for serving our team.
