Let the Journey begin...

Welcome to Andrew Rides a Bike, a blog that highlights my cross country bike ride in the summer of 2k19! I want to provide a means for family and friends to see updates of my adventure in this life changing experience. Tonight was the final night in a four day orientation in San Francisco, culminating in a kickoff dinner hosted by my parents. I am so thankful for all the support they have shown me and will show me throughout the ride. The whole dinner went so well and the entire team and parents are so excited for the journey to finally begin. Wake-up is 5:30 AM tomorrow where we will be starting from the Golden Gate bridge and heading north 70 miles to Napa Valley. Send prayers my way and I'll see you in wine country!
So fun to watch you cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge and through gorgeous Sausalito! Was an unusually hot day for you but you should be proud and relaxed now that you got your first day under your belt! Enjoy Napa!!!
